BNI 4 Week Challenge Instructions

NUTRITION PROGRAM

Welcome

For those of you we haven’t met, we’re Kelsey and Bec, Sports DIetitians at Nutrient Nation. We’re really excited to be joining Active Farmers in their Spring into 2022 Program. 

We will be providing a 4 week nutrition guide and we’re also offering great discounts on our individual consultations.

Exercise

Daily exercise suggestions have been provided. For every exercise you do e.g. 30mins exercise or 100 burpees, you will accrue 10 points for your team. Make sure you tick off that you have completed it. Each BNI team will also have a group exercise team leader who will arrange additional sessions for your group to earn more points.

Weigh-Ins

Weigh-ins will be available weekly from 6.15am at BNI. The team with the most weight loss at the end of the 4 weeks gets 100 points toward their teams total.

Facebook Group

You will be signed up to a private Facebook page where we will make announcements and you can ask questions. We will also do a weekly Facebook live to chat about the latest nutrition topics. A poll will be submitted each week to determine the best night for the live session.

Fundraising

There are 3 extra fundraising opportunities. You will be able to sign up for these following BNI on the 9th or 10th May.

1. The first fundraising opportunity is the weight loss challenge. This challenge is an individual challenge with the winner receiving a prize. The cost to enter is $5 and you need to guess the total number of kg lost for both teams combined.

2. There are 2 face-to-face exercise challenges set for Tuesday 14th and Thursday 30th May at 6pm-7pm, held at UpnAdam at Hamilton North. Each session is $5 to attend (friends/family welcome $10). These sessions will be a competition between Sunrisers and Unity with a greater portion of the entry fee going to the winning teams charity.

3. The final challenge is a social media challenge. Entry is free and Nutrient Nation will donate $$. Throughout the 4 weeks we encourage you to post photos of your meals and exercise to your social media pages. To be eligible you’ll need to tag @nutrientnation and either #sunrisersgetfit or #unitygetsfit. Each day we will repost our favourite photo and at the end of the 4 weeks, the post with the most likes, we will donate the $$ of the number of likes.
