Hydration and Sweat Testing
A sweat test is the only accurate way to determine an athlete’s sweat rate and sweat sodium concentration. Knowing this information helps with personalised hydration planning to allow you to replace fluids and electrolytes in the correct amounts for increased performance and wellbeing.
Hydration and sweat testing is suitable for both individual and team-sport athletes and allows development of a personalised training and race day hydration strategy.
Sweat testing includes two sessions: 1) the testing session and 2) the consultation where we discuss your results and develop your plan. Instructions on how to prepare are sent after booking.
If you’ve ever gotten your race nutrition wrong, you will understand the importance of having a structured plan of what to eat or drink and when. Planning your race day strategy can give you the confidence of knowing your race nutrition is the best it can be, leaving you to focus more on how well you perform.
Poor race day hydration and nutrition can be the cause of gastrointestinal upset, cramping or hitting the wall during a race and could even result in a DNF. We provide race plans for both single and multiday events.
Race plans include a 30min consultation + a written race plan and ongoing email contact in the lead up to your event to check on progress with your trial nutrition.

Sports Nutrition Coaching Program
Our sports nutrition coaching program will be an 8-week online program that teaches you all about the science of sports nutrition and let’s you in on many of our tips and tricks that we use to get the most out of our athletes' sports performance.
On completion of the course you will have a comprehensive understanding of energy requirements for sport, how to manipulate the macronutrient intake for improving performance and body composition, how to work out your personal fluid requirements and develop a race or competition plan and what supplements are safe and effective for improving your performance.
